FunAi’s internship program gives students and early-career professionals hands-on experience building, testing, and deploying AI Staff for real business clients. This isn’t a classroom exercise — you’ll work on production AI that serves actual companies.
What You’ll Get
Real Business Projects
Work on AI Staff that will be deployed to real clients. Your work has impact from day one.
Cross-Border Experience
Our projects span Singapore, Japan, and ASEAN — giving you exposure to international business environments.
AI Development Skills
Learn prompt engineering, usability testing, workflow automation, and AI agent architecture.
Leader Mentality
As you are fully exposed to all information and infrastructures by the project, your contribution is up to how much you want to learn more or deeper. Don’t think of yourself as a part of the organisation.
Who Should Apply
We’re looking for curious, driven individuals who want to be at the forefront of practical AI. You don’t need a computer science degree — but you do need a genuine interest in how AI can transform the way businesses operate.
Our interns come from diverse backgrounds: business administration, engineering, linguistics, design, and more. What they share is a willingness to learn and an eagerness to build things that work. Open to students across Asia.

241 students applied. 9 students selected from Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and China selected. Signature Mission: “The Very Long List” (RAG technology wasn’t available — competed on Web Scraping and AI Data Formatting).
Jun 2025 — Dec 2025
AI Internship 2025
1,002 students applied. 9 students selected from Singapore, Vietnam and Japan. Signature Mission: “Hook me in the morning” (Voice AI and emotion recognition to compete on morning routine automation).
